Client Portal Terms of Service

1. Purpose of the Portal

The Hutton Life Coaching client portal ("Portal") is a private, invite-only platform provided to active coaching clients of Julie Hutton ("Coach"). It is used to share session notes, summaries, homework assignments, and other coaching-related materials between the Coach and client.

2. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

• Use a strong, unique password for your portal account
• Not share your login credentials with any third party
• Notify Julie immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access
• Log out of your account when using shared or public devices

3. Confidentiality of Content

All content shared through the Portal — including session notes, summaries, and homework — is confidential and intended solely for your personal use. You agree not to share, reproduce, distribute, or publish any Portal content without the prior written consent of the Coach.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS). While we take reasonable precautions to protect your information, no online system is 100% secure. By creating an account, you acknowledge and accept this inherent risk.

In the event of a data breach or unauthorized access, we will notify affected clients as promptly as reasonably possible.

5. Limitation of Liability

Hutton Life Coaching and Julie Hutton shall not be liable for any unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to maintain the security of your credentials, your use of a compromised device, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to third-party security breaches, cyberattacks, or force majeure events).

By creating an account, you agree that your use of the Portal is at your own risk, and that Hutton Life Coaching's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

6. Not a Medical or Therapeutic Service

Life coaching is not therapy, counseling, or a medical service. Content shared through the Portal does not constitute medical, psychological, or legal advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed mental health professional or call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

7. Account Termination

Your portal access is tied to your active coaching relationship with Hutton Life Coaching. Access may be revoked at the end of your coaching engagement or at any time for violation of these terms.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Portal after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
